Accessibility Statement
How we make this website usable for everyone, what we know is not perfect yet and how to tell us about a problem.
Our aim
We want everyone to be able to find out about our services and contact us, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- every page has a single main heading and a logical heading order, and is marked as British English for screen readers;
- a skip to content link lets keyboard users bypass the menu;
- the menu, question lists and enquiry forms use standard controls that work with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline;
- every form field has a visible label, and errors are announced to screen readers;
- every image has a text description;
- pages reflow to fit narrow screens without sideways scrolling, and text can be enlarged in the browser;
- animations are switched off if your device asks for reduced motion;
- our address and phone number are always available as text alongside the maps.
Known limitations
We have not yet had an independent accessibility audit, so there may be problems we have not found. Maps from Google are outside our control.
