Who we are
K & B Screeding Ltd is a floor screeding contractor based at 284 Lynch Hill Lane in Slough. The company was founded in 2019 by director Donatas Bardisevicius, and our floor screeders bring over ten years of hands-on experience. From Slough we lay screeds for homes, extensions, new builds and commercial and industrial buildings right across London and the Home Counties.

Floor preparation & screeding
Liquid screed, sand and cement screed, screed over underfloor heating, floor preparation and repairs. Every floor is different, so depth, loading, drying time and what is going on top all change the answer. We provide several types of screed and help you select the right one, from liquid and anhydrite screed to latex levelling and concrete floor grinding.
Every kind of floor screed, laid by our own team: pumped liquid screed, hand-laid sand and cement, screed over underfloor heating, and the preparation and levelling around them.
Pumped straight from the mixer and self-levelling, liquid screed gives a flat, dense floor that is ideal over underfloor heating and covers large areas in a day.
The proven, versatile choice. Traditional sand and cement screed is mixed on site, compacted by hand and finished to a level, durable base for any floor covering.
The screed is what makes underfloor heating work. We lay liquid and traditional screeds over wet systems with the right depth, full pipe encapsulation and a controlled heat-up.
We supply, pump and finish calcium sulphate flow screed to the grade your specification calls for, from CA-C20-F4 to alpha hemihydrate products, over insulation, underfloor heating or concrete.
These screeds contain additives which enable the screed to dry more quickly, so floor coverings can be laid sooner and follow-on trades are not held up.
Self levelling compounds and subfloor levelling that turn an uneven screed or slab into a smooth, flat base for LVT, vinyl, tiles and engineered wood.
Two part latex levelling compound laid a few millimetres thick over overboarded timber, old tiles and uneven concrete, giving vinyl, LVT and carpet a smooth, flat base.
Diamond grinding of concrete slabs and screeds to take off high spots, laitance, old adhesive, paint and coatings, leaving a clean, sound surface ready for levelling compound, screed, resin by others or new flooring.

Liquid screed is usually the best choice, because it flows fully around the pipes and can be laid thinner for a faster, more even heat. Sand and cement also works well when laid to the right depth. See underfloor heating screed.
A common rule of thumb is about one day per millimetre for the first 40mm in good conditions, and longer beyond that. Liquid and quick drying screeds can be much faster. Our guide on how long screed takes to dry explains more.
Typical UK prices in 2026 run from about £18 to £25 per m² for sand and cement screed and £24 to £31 per m² for liquid screed, supplied and laid, according to the MyJobQuote cost guide (August 2026), which does not say whether its figures include VAT. Concrete contains coarse aggregate (stones) and forms the structural slab. Screed is made with sharp sand or a fine binder and no coarse aggregate.
