Older stock means more renovation, levelling and repair work, while newer estates mean more liquid screed over underfloor heating. Figures from Census 2021 (TS044) and the VOA council tax stock of properties. Published 2026 UK figures put sand and cement screed at about £18 to £25 per m² and liquid screed at about £24 to £31 per m², supplied and laid (MyJobQuote, August 2026).

Services

Screeding services across Leicestershire

  • ScreedingEvery kind of floor screed, laid by our own team: pumped liquid screed, hand-laid sand and cement, screed over underfloor heating, and the preparation and levelling around them.
  • Liquid ScreedPumped straight from the mixer and self-levelling, liquid screed gives a flat, dense floor that is ideal over underfloor heating and covers large areas in a day.
  • Sand and Cement ScreedThe proven, versatile choice. Traditional sand and cement screed is mixed on site, compacted by hand and finished to a level, durable base for any floor covering.
  • Underfloor Heating ScreedThe screed is what makes underfloor heating work. We lay liquid and traditional screeds over wet systems with the right depth, full pipe encapsulation and a controlled heat-up.
  • Anhydrite & Flow ScreedWe supply, pump and finish calcium sulphate flow screed to the grade your specification calls for, from CA-C20-F4 to alpha hemihydrate products, over insulation, underfloor heating or concrete.
  • Floor LevellingSelf levelling compounds and subfloor levelling that turn an uneven screed or slab into a smooth, flat base for LVT, vinyl, tiles and engineered wood.
  • Latex ScreedTwo part latex levelling compound laid a few millimetres thick over overboarded timber, old tiles and uneven concrete, giving vinyl, LVT and carpet a smooth, flat base.
  • Concrete Floor GrindingDiamond grinding of concrete slabs and screeds to take off high spots, laitance, old adhesive, paint and coatings, leaving a clean, flat surface ready for resin, levelling compound, screed or new flooring.
