Screeding
Every kind of floor screed, laid by our own team: pumped liquid screed, hand-laid sand and cement, screed over underfloor heating, and the preparation and levelling around them.
Screeding, preparation & levelling
Liquid, sand and cement, underfloor heating, fibre reinforced, quick drying, high strength and bonded screeds, plus the preparation, levelling and repairs that make them last. From our base in Slough we cover 25 counties, mainly Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, London, Surrey, Sussex and Northamptonshire.
What we offer
Pick the wrong screed and you pay for it in drying delays, cracking or a floor that never sits flat. Here is every service we offer, grouped so you can find the right one quickly.
Every kind of floor screed, laid by our own team: pumped liquid screed, hand-laid sand and cement, screed over underfloor heating, and the preparation and levelling around them.
Pumped straight from the mixer and self-levelling, liquid screed gives a flat, dense floor that is ideal over underfloor heating and covers large areas in a day.
The proven, versatile choice. Traditional sand and cement screed is mixed on site, compacted by hand and finished to a level, durable base for any floor covering.
The screed is what makes underfloor heating work. We lay liquid and traditional screeds over wet systems with the right depth, full pipe encapsulation and a controlled heat-up.
We supply, pump and finish calcium sulphate flow screed to the grade your specification calls for, from CA-C20-F4 to alpha hemihydrate products, over insulation, underfloor heating or concrete.
Polypropylene fibres are added and evenly dispersed in the screed mix. This helps to minimise shrinkage and cracking, especially over insulation and underfloor heating.
These screeds contain additives which enable the screed to dry more quickly, so floor coverings can be laid sooner and follow-on trades are not held up.
These screeds achieve high strengths and are used in buildings that will receive high levels of foot traffic, trolleys and point loads.
Bonded screed is fully bonded to the substrate with a bonding agent. It is used where heavy loading is common, or where floor build-up height is limited.
Two part latex levelling compound laid a few millimetres thick over overboarded timber, old tiles and uneven concrete, giving vinyl, LVT and carpet a smooth, flat base.
We pump liquid and sand and cement screed from the road to wherever the floor is, through the house, up to upper floors or down to basements, and lay it ourselves.
Shot blasting, diamond grinding, scarifying and crack and joint repairs. We prepare floor surfaces to the requirements of the client and the finish going on top.
Self levelling compounds and subfloor levelling that turn an uneven screed or slab into a smooth, flat base for LVT, vinyl, tiles and engineered wood.
Self levelling screed covers two different jobs: a thin levelling compound that smooths a sound floor, and a full depth flowing screed that forms the floor itself. We lay both and tell you which yours needs.
Cracked, hollow, crumbling or uneven screed repaired properly, from local patch repairs to breaking out and relaying whole floors.
Cracked, spalled, broken or uneven concrete slabs repaired, from crack and joint repairs to patch repairs and resurfacing with a bonded screed or levelling compound.
Diamond grinding of concrete slabs and screeds to take off high spots, laitance, old adhesive, paint and coatings, leaving a clean, flat surface ready for resin, levelling compound, screed or new flooring.
Insulation boards, damp proof and slip membranes, edge strip and acoustic layers installed correctly under the screed, so every layer works together.
Screeding for home extensions, renovations, loft and garage conversions, basements and self builds, with honest advice and a clean, tidy job.
Floor screeding for offices, retail, schools, warehouses and residential developments, delivered to specification and on programme for contractors and developers.
